Field of entries complete, Easter present for defending champions - wild card for Sweden
The field of entries for the ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP, to take place at Düsseldorf Rochusclub on May 17-23, is complete: as an Easter presentdefending champions Sweden received the wild card of the organisers and ATP.Thus, the eighth and last team for the 32nd edition of the Tennis World Team Championship has been named. The Swedish team will be headed by Robin Soederling who won all eight matches last year (four singles and four doublesmatches): “This is great news for our team. I would like to thank the organisers and I truly hope that we will be able to follow up on our success last year.” Soederling will again be accompanied by doubles specialist Robert Lindstedt.
The directly qualified teams were France, Russia, Argentina, Germany, Italy, the USA and Serbia. Germany will be represented by Philipp Kohlschreiber, Rainer Schuettler, Nicolas Kiefer and „rookie“ Mischa Zverev.
