Soderling equalizes for Sweden against France
The top ten player, Gilles Simon, missed the chance to secure France an early victory against Sweden. After winning the first set 6-4, Simon lost the second and third sets with 2-6 and 0-6, respectively. He was struggling more and more with his game. So, the titleholder, Sweden, will have a chance to beat France in the final doubles match tomorrow. Soderling continued his winning streak at the ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP. He has not been beaten at the Rochusclub since 2008 and won his ninth match in succession. Dusseldorf (pps)
Gilles Simon (FRA): 'When I had won the first set, Soderling became stronger and stronger and played better than I. The match got more and more complicated for me…'
