Heartbeat finals in the round robin

It could be a day full of tension, drama and emotion. The ultimate decision which nations will qualify for the final of the 32nd ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP on Saturday, will be made only on Friday. In order to make it a real heartbeat final on Friday, only the first singles will be played in each of the three ties (Germany vs Sweden, Argentina vs Russia, Serbia vs Italy) on Thursday which will decide about the finalists. Consequently there will be only a pre-decision, the ultimate decision will be definitely made on Friday.

On Thursday, the two teams from France and the USA which have no longer a chance to qualify for the final, will play their entire tie (two singles, one doubles) on Center Court II on Thursday thus ultimately making Friday the “Decision Day”.
