Deciding double USA-France

In the tie between the USA and France, the doubles match between Sam Querrey/Mardy Fish (USA) and Gilles Simon/Jeremy Chardy was decided in favour of the Americans who won the duel 2-6, 6-4, 10-7. The American team thus won the tie 2-1. The French team which arrived with its two top ten players, Gilles Simon and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, only captured the fourth place in the Red Group of the ARAG WORLD TEAM CUP after losing all three ties.
